SX1 is an advanced solar cell that acts as a radiation intensity sensor that accurately measures the level of sunlight in photovoltaic systems.

The device sends digital data via the MODBUS protocol. The digital data output range from 0 to 2300 corresponds to sunlight from 0 to 1000 W/m². A device necessary for measuring the intensity of sunlight in OFF-Grid systems and other devices in which light intensity is the basic condition in some processes.

Data from the sensor is necessary to calculate the coefficient of performance of the solar installation, which is an important indicator of the efficiency of the system. The sensor easily connects to the ENSolarX device and others via 4 wires. GND, 5V, A, B. the connection allows easy access to all collected data, which is displayed in the ENSolarX application and allows for redirecting excess energy from the panels, e.g. to heaters or other devices.
